Pinflair Glue: What’s each one for?

Pinflair sell a variety of craft products such as pastes, glitter and glue. Most of the glues that we stock are from Pinflair, in this blog I will give a brief explanation of the different glues they sell and what they should be used with.

All stick, all purpose glue:

Like the name indicates it can be used on a variety of surfaces and projects especially matting and layering. The main surfaces that work well with this glue is paper, wood, cardboard, plastic and polystyrene. To us the glue you need to twist the top part of the lid to open the nozzle and then apply the glue to the area you are gluing, before you put the two materials together you should allow the glue to evaporate then press them firmly together. Excess glue can (and probably should) be wiped away.

This is sold in 82ml bottles.

Glue-it bookbinding glue:

Bookbinding glue is designed to use with paper craft such as die cut pieces, cardboard box construction and paper flowers.

This is sold in 85ml and 120ml bottles.

Foto Glue:

The Pinflair Foto Glue is sold as part of a kit which includes 2x 50ml tubes of glue 2x plastic spreads and Pins and a dispensing key. It can be used with all types of craft and is repositionable. Surplus glue can be easily removed from your project.

Glue Gel:

The Glue Gel is sold as part of a kit or by the tube (80ml).

This glue can be used with most crafting projects and materials such as cardmaking, decoupage, scrapbooking, polystyrene, plastic, glass and many more. It is completely odourless, silicone free and dries crystal clear.

The kits include 1x tube of glue, 1x application syringe and 1x dispensing key.

Pinflair stencil glue:

This glue as the name says is designed for those who like doing stencil work. It is a low tack glue that helps you to keep your stencil in place while you create your design then peels away from the page without leaving any sticky residue behind.

The bottle has a nozzle at the end to help apply and the bottle is easy to squeeze. To use squeeze a small amount on to each corner of your stencil and spread around the edge using a sponge and leave for 5-10 minutes. Once the glue has become tacky position your stencil and lightly press down. To clean your stencil place, it in hot soapy water and rub with a sponge.
